We are Braudit Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (under company number 14369531). Through our web app, we offer you a program that provides personalised, on-demand career insights and recommendations. Below, we explain in detail the types of personal data we may collect when you interact with us, how we use it and it also explains how we store and keep it safe.
This policy applies to Braudit Limited (also known as Braudit) and you. It covers (1) any of our websites or apps including https://www.braudit.app and any forums and social network or similar accounts that we operate; and (2) any of our products or services (including support services and any other features, apps, technologies, software, products, or services offered by us, on any platforms or which may be accessible via a web application, third party platform or social network. Most of the information we collect will be provided by you. This information could include but is not limited to contact details such as your name, address, email address and phone numbers as well as career focused information like your work experience. You might also provide information to help us market our services.
We collect information, which identifies your computer and tracks your visits to our website. This information does not individually identify people and as such your name and other personal identifications are anonymous.
Throughout this Privacy Policy we’ll refer to Braudit’s Sites, Apps, and other services collectively as “Services”.
We only collect information about you if we have a reason to do so — for example, to provide our Services, to communicate with you, or to make our Services better.
We collect this information from three sources: if and when you provide information to us, automatically through operating our Services, and from outside Service partners. Let’s go over the information that we collect.
We collect information that you provide to us directly. Here are some examples:
Your career entries are kept private and are used to provide you with the services we offer. This means that when you use Braudit to document your career journey, none of your moment entries are made publicly viewable on the Internet, however, to deliver services like personalised recommendations and an analysis of a career entry, your entries will be accessed privately by our service. We've put in place and mechanisms to ensure your career entries stay private and are only used as described in our “Terms of Service”. Your career entries are not accessible to other Braudit users.
If you register and open an “Account” with us in order to use our services you provide us basic account information including your names, email address and a password. In creating your account, you would also need to provide information to set up your profile on Braudit. To set up your account you’ll be asked to provide us information relating to your career including but not limited to your career goals, challenges, skills, work experience and educational background.
When you purchase Services, we may collect information to complete and record the transaction. For example, if you subscribe to a Braudit plan we’ll collect information, like your name and credit/debit card information, to process payments. We also keep a record of the purchases you’ve made.
You may also provide us with information when you provide us feedback or communicate with our team about a support question. When you communicate with us via form, email, phone, or otherwise, we store a copy of our communications (including any call recordings as permitted by applicable law).
We also collect some information automatically:
Like most online service providers, we collect information that web browsers, mobile devices, and servers typically make available, including the browser type, IP address, unique device identifiers, language preference, referring site, the date and time of access, operating system, and mobile network information. We collect log information when you use our Services — for example, when you log into your account or publish a moment entry.
We may determine the approximate location of your device from your IP address. We collect and use this information to understand where our users are located so we can identify what features might be meaningful to them.
Like many online services, we use cookies to collect information. A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Pixel tags (also called web beacons) are small blocks of code placed on websites and emails. Braudit uses cookies and other technologies like pixel tags to help us identify and track visitors, usage, and access preferences for our Services, as well as track and understand email campaign effectiveness. For example, we use Google Analytics to help analyse how users use our Site. We do not combine the information generated through the use of Google Analytics with your personal information. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to the Site is governed by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy.
When you connect an account from another service we typically get some basic information about your account with them. For example, when you connect Braudit to your Google account in order to sign up or log in, we may access certain user data such as your name, user ID, email, etc. to provide our Services.
We do not share your data other than with approved service partners such as our email broadcast service providers.
We use your personal information to:
We will communicate with you primarily in the form of emails. You can manage the frequency and/or opt out of receiving these communications by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of each marketing email. Please note that even if you unsubscribe or opt-out of our emails, we may still send you Services related communications (e.g., emails related to your account or the App).
We reserve the right to disclose anonymous information or other information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you publicly without restriction.
We generally discard information about you when it’s no longer needed for the purposes for which we collect and use it — described in the section above on “How We Use the Information We Collect” — and we’re not legally required to keep it.
For example, we keep web server logs for a few months. We retain the logs for this period of time in order to, among other things, analyse traffic, and investigate issues if something goes wrong.
In assessing the suitable duration for retaining personal data, we take into account various factors including the quantity, type, and sensitivity of the data, the potential risks associated with unauthorised access or disclosure, the purposes for which we utilise the data, the feasibility of achieving these purposes through alternative methods, and the relevant legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or other obligations.
Under certain conditions, we may anonymize your personal data, rendering it unidentifiable to you, for research or statistical analysis. In such instances, we reserve the right to utilise this anonymized information indefinitely without providing additional notification.
We take the security of your information seriously. We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Here's how we ensure the security of your data:
Your data is encrypted on disk using Linux Unified Key Setup (LUKS) encryption technology. This means that even if someone gains physical access to our servers, they won't be able to access your data without the decryption key.
We encrypt all data transmitted between your device and our servers using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. This ensures that your data remains secure while it's being transmitted over the internet, protecting it from interception by unauthorised parties.
We implement strict access controls to limit access to your data only to authorised personnel who require it for legitimate technical purposes. This includes using strong authentication mechanisms and regularly reviewing and updating access permissions.
We conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and address any potential vulnerabilities in our systems and processes. This helps us stay proactive in mitigating security risks and ensuring the ongoing security of your data.
We maintain regular backups of your data and have a comprehensive disaster recovery plan in place to ensure the integrity and availability of your information in the event of unforeseen incidents or emergencies.
While we take every precaution to protect your data, it's essential to remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
You can review, change, and/or delete parts of your provided personal information by logging into the Braudit web app and accessing your account.
You may opt out of receiving promotional communications from us. Just follow the instructions in those communications or navigate to "emails" in your profile settings page or reach out to us. If you opt out of promotional communications, we may still send you other communications, like those about your account and legal notices.
You can usually choose to set your browser to remove or reject browser cookies before using our Sites, with the drawback that certain features may not function properly without the aid of cookies.
Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data. These rights are to:
If you wish to exercise any of the rights set out above, please contact us at hello@braudit.app.

We will aim to respond to all legitimate requests as soon as we reasonably can and in any event within 60 days. We encourage visitors and users to frequently check this page for any changes to our Privacy Policy. We will post any revised version of the Privacy Policy on this page, and, in some cases, we may provide additional notice (like adding a statement to our homepage or sending you a notification through email or the app). Your further use of the Services after a change to our Privacy Policy will be subject to the updated policy.
